Julie

Julie Brannen hails from Port St Lucie, Florida and is brand new to the Windy City. She received her BFA in Dance Performance with a Minor in Leadership from the University of Florida. While at UF, she performed works by Jose Limon, Kraig Patterson, Gerri Houlihan, and Shapiro and Smith. She is currently attending Columbia College Chicago's Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling Graduate Program. She is excited to start her professional dance career with The Dance COLEctive and thanks her family and friends for their wonderful support!

The Dance COLEctive aspires to challenge assumptions about how dance is presented, through the use of cutting-edge choreography, innovative collaborations, and inspired creative site-specific-works.
