Molly Grimm-Leasure

Molly

Molly graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2004, where she obtained her BFA in dance choreography, and from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2005. Molly has had the pleasure of dancing with The Dance COLEctive since 2002. Since 2008, Molly has worked with Breakbone Dance Co. under the direction of Atalee Judy. She has also performed in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2006 Chicago Gay Games under the choreographic direction of Joel Hall and Kevin Iega Jeff. Throughout 2003, Molly was a featured dancer in Dance Spirit Magazine, which tracked Molly’s professional and scholastic achievements and reported what life was like to be a dance major. Molly was one of three dancers in the United States chosen for this opportunity. Molly has performed for and worked with some of the best choreographers in the country, including David Gordon, Dardi McGinley Gallivan, Billy Siegenfeld, Miguel Mancillas, and Bruce Stegmann. Molly would like to acknowledge her husband Zak and her parents for all their love and support as she continues to follow her dreams.
