DancersSummer Breal
is originally from Biloxi, MS. She graduated form the University of Southern Mississippi with a BA in Dance Education. She danced in Ohio for a year with Dayton Contemporary Second Dance Company and was also a member of the Cindy Brandle Dance Company here in Chicago. Summer is certified in dance education and is currently working with Hubbard Street Dance Company as a teaching artist, where she works in elementary schools throughout the Chicago area. She is thrilled to be dancing in her second season with The Dance COLEctive!

The Dance COLEctive aspires to challenge assumptions about how dance is presented, through the use of cutting-edge choreography, innovative collaborations, and inspired creative site-specific-works.
